Where is the GLSD Wildcat Store located?
The Wildcat Store is located in the senior high school near the commons area. Items are shipped from the senior high school.
Can I visit the high school store in person to browse and try on apparel?
The Wildcat Store is open only during school hours (and select events at the school, i.e. open house, art gala, etc.). Visitors (non-students and staff) must check in at the main office where your driver’s license will be scanned as part of a quick background check. Upon approval, you will be given a visitor’s pass and will be directed to the store. If the store workers are absent from school on a given day, the store may not be open during their assigned class period.
Which way should the Wildcat face?
When the Wildcat logo received a modern update in 2013 after a vote by the student body, the concept was looking to the future while honoring the past. With that in mind, the Wildcat should always "face the future," which typically means to the right.
Can I still submit an order by mail with a personal check?
Yes, that is still an option, but only in-store. We no longer accept mail orders.
Can I use my credit card or phone to pay in the store?
Yes! We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express (with or without security chip). We are also equipped to accept Apple Pay and Android Pay!
I can now order online?! Why should I order online?
Ordering online at http://wildcatstore.glsd.us offers you the luxury and convenience of placing an order at anytime from anywhere. This also allows alumni and fans who live out of the area to keep their wardrobe updated with Wildcats merchandise! It’s also a great way to easily purchase gifts for others without having to drive to the school--or have it shipped directly to them!
I see I can buy eGift Cards. How do they work?
Not sure of a size or what your Wildcat would exactly like? Then an eGift Card is a convenient way for you to give a gift while allowing the recipient to choose the gift! Unfortunately, these eGift Cards can be redeemed ONLY on this website, NOT in the actual store at the high school (even though the products that are carried are the same). We do sell traditional plastic gift cards (on the Gift Card page on the homepage of this site) that can be used in the store, and likewise, those cannot be used to make a purchase online.
Can I place an order online and pick it up at the senior high school?
Yes, we do offer that option as part of the checkout process, but you will need to select “Local Pickup” in the shipping portion in order to designate your order for holding at the school AND to avoid shipping charges. All orders using this option will be available for pick up at the main office at the senior high school at the address below. Please wait for emailed notification that your order is ready for pick-up before arriving at the school. Orders that are not picked up after 30 days will be re-shelved with no refund given.
What do I need in order to pick up an online order?
Please wait until your order has been processed AND you receive email notification that your order is ready for pick-up. A PHOTO ID and ORDER NUMBER are required to pick-up an online order. If you would like a person other than yourself to pick up the order, please write that person’s name in the “Notes” section during the online checkout process. Orders that are not picked up after 30 days will be re-shelved with no refund given.
What is taxed in your store and on your website?
In PA, clothing, wearables, and drinks/snacks are not taxable items. All other products, such as home decor, seat cushions, stickers/magnets, etc., are taxed at a rate of 6% as required by law.
How long will it take for me to receive my online order?
Orders are usually processed within 2-5 school days. Orders may be delayed due to holidays, school vacations, in-service days, etc. If an ordered item is on backorder, we will ship the available items in separate shipments at no extra shipping charge. Once an order leaves the school, it typically takes two (2) days to reach a local address (Latrobe, Greensburg, Derry, etc.).
I received an email that my order was not completed due to an error with my payment. What should I do?
Contact us by email at student.store@glsd.us so that we can provide you with information we have in order to help resolve the problem.
Where can my order be shipped?
The Wildcat Store can ship only to addresses inside the continental United States. Shipping is a flat rate of $8.00 per order.
How long do I have to return a product?
We accept returns with a receipt/proof of purchase up to 30 days after your receiving of the order for a full refund. Item(s) must be unworn with the tags still attached and must be in resalable condition (no odors, makeup stains, etc.). We must also be able to ship exchanges prior to the last day of the school year. Returns will be refunded using the same tender with which they were purchased. If you do not have a receipt or proof of purchase, items can be exchanged for a different size or an item of equal or lesser value. If ordered online, you may ship the item back to us along with an explanation of your return, or you may arrange a return in person by emailing student.store@glsd.us (so that the store manager/adviser is available). Why didn’t I receive my full order?
As a small, student-run store, we are not able to keep a large inventory of apparel. Occasionally we may sell out of an item due to a previous order or an in-store purchase. We do our best to fulfill all orders in the order in which they were received. We will contact you via email if we are not able to complete your entire order, especially due to closeout items. If an item is on backorder, you may receive your items in separate shipments at no extra shipping charge. The Wildcat Store is not responsible for orders lost in transit or delivered to the wrong address.
Is there anything I can do if the size I’d like isn’t an option?
You can email us at student.store@glsd.us to see if we’ll be reordering that particular item. We sometimes cannot replenish our items because they have been discontinued by our suppliers. However, you might luck out, and a new order might be on its way! We do try to offer new products at the beginning of each school year.
Is it possible to be invoiced, then I send payment upon receiving my order?
While we try to be as accommodating as possible with customers, we must have payment upfront before an order is processed.
Can I use my own shipping service or prepaid mailing label rather than the Wildcat Store mailing through the USPS?
No. In an effort to eliminate fraudulent purchases, we can send orders only to the address associated with the credit card.
